In my artwork, I use a large variety of media, like sound and film, drawings, slides, objects, sculptures etc. Mostly, I combine them to installations, but I also make single video pieces and drawings that can be shown in different ways and on different occasions. My installative work mostly integrates and plays with the space of the exhibiton, I always include the surrounding and react on what the space is offering me. Therefore a lot of my works can be seen as ephemeral, since it is very often impossible to rebuild the work in a different sourrounding, or, if so, it changes the work strongly.
There are several reappearing subjects in my artwork, the quotation and use of films and the self-positioning of myself as an artist. This second theme leads to a main part of my artwork, the collaborative projects. Even though most of my art is developed alone, I very often combine ideas and work with fellow artists or collectives, organize group projects and include a theoretical discourse or the intermediation of art. In the following, different works related to my various subjects can be seen, solo pieces, drawings, videos and also collaborative works.
