„night moor“ Iceland, 2007, mixed-media animation, PAL, 3min43sec During the SIM-Residency in Reykjavik in 2007, I had strange and obscure nightmares. With a wide mixture of solo-scenes as remembered from the dreams,
I created a mixed-media animation with drawn images, still-photograph animations and real film parts. As seen in the film, the different scenes pop up in a book, each time a page is turned, something new shows up. The book ads a brace to the solo-scenes, resembling a journal, in
which i would „write“ the memories of the dreams. The sound resembles typical sound effects from horror films, light heartbeats or slow and dark music.
